Algebra 2 is a graduation requirement, and doing well in this course will prepare you for college STEM courses as well as PreCalculus in high school.

Algebra 2 helps you learn about functions that can model things in our universe, be they scientific or financial. The word 'algebra' comes from an Arabic word for 'fitting broken bones together.' We will be fitting functions together with data to understand how ideas are connected.

Welcome to Geometry A and B. The word geometry comes from the ancient Greek terms for measuring the earth, which is something you can do with logic (someone did it in 200 BCE). The purpose for learning geometry in high school is for students to learn logical thinking, a powerful tool to help you avoid frauds and scams.
